Jon Hughes and Debbie Gunning
Jon Hughes and Debbie Gunning provide middle-distance training for young athletes aged 11 and up, bringing years of coaching experience to their sessions.
Debbie Gunning Debbie, a UKA/England Athletics qualified coach, has a long competitive history, including representing Great Britain in the 1500m at the 1996 European Indoor Championships. Jon Hughes Jon began coaching when his son joined Swindon Harriers as an under-11. In 2024, he achieved the ‘Event Group Endurance’ qualification, the highest offered by England Athletics. An avid runner, Jon has completed numerous half marathons, marathons, and ultra-marathons.
