Membership at Swindon Harriers is open to individuals of all abilities, starting from the age of eight and above. Whether you’re looking to take your first steps into athletics, improve your fitness, or compete at a higher level, we welcome athletes of all ages and experience.

Membership Track Fees 2024/25

Rates for 2024/25 (including an EA Affiliation Fee of £19.00) are as follows:

For non-track users, eg, road runners. For occasional use of the track they would pay the standard £6.00 fee (wef 1st May).

Training Fees

Road Running training is free although some groups run a voluntary contribution scheme.
When training on the County Ground track fees are payable to cover the track hire payable to the Council. There are a number of ways of paying these:
  • For ‘Track’ members – included in the monthly fee paid
  • For ‘Off Track’ members – £6.00 per session
  • For Non–Members – £8.00 per session
New starters would only be able to pay the Non-Members track fee for 5 weeks after their initial free week, they will then be required to join the Club at that time.
For visiting athletes, the non-member rate would be on-going
For over 11’s we will automatically register you with England Athletics to enable you to take part in competitions. For information about this please go to the England Athletics site.
